Indigo Design to Code Studio Supports Designer & Developer Workflows from Prototyping to Usability Testing & Code Generation plus Best-In-Class UI Components for Google’s Flutter & Angular Frameworks

MOUNTAINVIEW, CA - MAY 8, 2018 – Infragistics, a worldwide leader in providing tools and solutions that accelerate design, development, and collaboration today at Google I/O previewed a version of its new Indigo Design to Code Studio (D2C), the digital product design platform providing faster paths to amazing experiences. Indigo D2C lets visual designers, UX Architects, product managers, & application developers participate in a collaborative software design and development process, with the ability for each stakeholder to use the tools they love the most, including Sketch and Visual Studio Code.

What’s Indigo D2C Studio Made Of?

Infragistics Design System: A library of UI components, UI patterns, pre-defined screens and complete app scenarios designed and built using Sketch that can be used in Infragistics tools like Indigo Studio and Indigo’s image-based prototyping.
Indigo Studio: With Indigo Studio’s image-based prototyping, designers can use simple drag & drop to upload designs, and further add capabilities like navigation & transitions between screens, work with stakeholders and get iterative feedback in public or private team spaces, and perform unmoderated usability studies with built in video playback and analytics on studies.
Code Generation & UI Components for Angular & Flutter: Once the iterative design process is complete, developers can use Indigo D2C Studio Visual Studio Code plug-in and UI components to create a pixel-perfect Angular or Flutter application for Android and iOS.

Select capabilities of Indigo D2C Studio are available currently as individual products. The alpha shown today is expected to be in public preview before the end of H1 2018.
