Can I define a default Layout that will be used for export the grid into Excel. It should be independent of the grid layout set by user. If the user changes the FieldLayout it sould not affect the layout of the excel export. Like "Exclude Field Layout Setting" option.
My goal is to export the data in a single row format, independet of the layout in the grid. If the user changes the layout to a multi row format the export should be always in single row layout.

Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and I created a sample project for you with the functionality you want. Basically before I export the XamDataGrid, I save the Layout, then clear all the customizations, export and then load them.
