Does the xamDataChart support styles for column series yet?
I've got a very tight deadline (two weeks) to build several pages full of charts and I've wasted all day trying to figure out how to do basic styling on the column series. I started with xamWebChart until I found out that it was retired. I swapped over to xamDataGrid but styling for columns seems impossible without hacking the control apart. Why can't I just edit a copy of the current column style like every other control? This control is very designer unfriendly and I am hoping someone can point me to a resource for a simple way to override the default column color.
I'm pretty frustrated at the moment because at least the xamWebChart had a beginning brush and ending brush that could be set. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hello Jonathan,
It has been a while since you have made your post, in case you still need support I will be glad to assist you further. I suppose the other community members can benefit from this answer as well. I have been looking into your post and I can suggest you use the Brushes Property of the XamDataChart, which is a collection with Brushes and the chart uses this colors for the series. Here you can read more about it:

Also you can use the Series’ Brush Property, which set the color to the specific Series. Here you can find more information:

The are other scenarios which you can follow to achieve your goal, here Graham has shared code for coloring depending on a value:
