Could you please let me know in which assembly is placed GroupBy class?
In my case this class should be used as the ItemSource for StackedColumnSeries in case when the AutoGenerateSeries is True.
According to your documentation it should be part of the InfragisticsWPF.DataVisualization assembly, but seems like it's not the case for version 23.1.
Hello Ivan,
Thank you for your post. Yes GroupBy Class is a part of InfragisticsWPF.DataVisualization assembly. See the screenshot for the reference. may be you dint include the correct namespace ?
Regards,
Hi Divya,
Thanks for your answer.
In my case I'm using .NET6, not .NET framework that obviously you are using.
So, my question still remained for .NET6 (.NET core) version of the Infragistics packages.
Best regards,
Ivan
For .net6 did you try including Infragistics.WPF.DataVisualization package ?
Yes, I included the Infragistics.WPF.DataVisualization as you can see in screenshot of my project packages given bellow.
I converted the sample into .net 6 and able to reproduce the issue. The groupby helper class is not available for the .net core application. I log this matter into our internal bug tracking system with the id 28377 and also created a private case C-00234252 to link the bug.
Just to know, you do not need to use groupby for stacked series ,its just a helper to assist you in grouping your data and generates some classes to bind against but you could just do this yourself with linq/ dictionary and some classes you create.

thanks for your confirmation.
Could you please give me some example how to properly bind collection to the StackedColumnSeries with using the AutoGenerateSeries feature in order to dynamically show data? Since it's not obvious how to replace GroupMemberPath, KeyMemberPath and ValueMemberPath parameters of the GroupBy and using MVVM.
