xamDateNavigator Visible Months
posted

Hi,

I've created a view with a XamDateNavigator and a XamSchedule, both connecting to a XamScheduleDataManager pretty much like the Sample-Application shows. It works fine. But I can't find a property or something which shows the visibile months in the xamdatenavigator.

I only want to load the appointments for the visible months. As it makes no sense to load data that is out of that date range and to save some performance.

Is there a way to find out which months are visible? Best would be a property to bind on.

    Hello Jurgen,

Thank you for contacting Infragistics. It's considered to be a new product idea to expose a property that allows you to get the current amount of days, months, years etc. in view. The DateNavigator only exposes a ReferenceDate property which is the first available date that can be selected. However there isn't a property to expose the last available date. So there isn't a simple way to determine the date range that the navigator is displaying on screen at any given moment.

I recommend submitting a new product idea. Please use this link to suggest new product ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones).

Submitting your idea will allow you to communicate directly with our product management team, track the progress of your idea at any time, see how many votes it got, read comments from other developers in the community, and see if someone from the product team has additional questions for you.

Remember when submitting your idea to explain the context in which a feature would be used and why it is needed as well as anything that would prevent you from accomplishing this today. You can even add screenshots to build a stronger case. Remember that for your suggestion to be successful, you need other members of the community to vote for it.   You can also link back to this thread for additional details.

Thank you in advance to submitting your product idea.

    Have a nice day.
