I can see the grid has an appearance object for the FilterClearButton, but I do not see one for the ColumnChooserButton?
Hello,
Thank you for using Infragistics Components
Your scenario could be accomplished by using DrawFilter. By using a DrawFilter, you can override the drawing of any UIElement of any IG control.
Here is a link to the documentation on - DrawFilters.
I have created a sample for you that is displaying a backcolor. GetPhasesToFilter method returns two phases - BeforeDrawBackColor and BeforeDrawTheme. In DrawElement method, the BeforeDrawTheme phase is prevented in order the BackColor to be displayed.
Please take a look at the attached sample and let me know if you need any assistance.

I am just checking the progress of your issue. Please let me know if you need any assistance.
Hello Martin,
Speaking of FilterClearButton , Iam having a hard time to make it visible in my ultragrid by writing the following instructions:
Private Sub Form1_Load(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
UltraGrid1.DisplayLayout.Override.FilterClearButtonLocation = FilterClearButtonLocation.Row
End Sub
Am I missing something ?
Hi,
This setting would make it so that there is a single filter clear button on the left side of the row, instead of one for each cell. I think the button appears in line with the RowSelectors. So it might not show up if you turned the RowSelectors off.
