I have the UltraWinSchedule. I need to print the UltraMonthViewSingle and UltraWeekView calendars, but I cannot find the UltraScedulePrintDocument class anywhere. Did this come out with a later version? Do I have to make another purchase to aquire this class OR what is the minimum version I need to aquire this class?
No, all the Windows Forms components and controls are available with the NetAdvantage license you purchased. The UltraSchedulePrintDocument class is in the Infragistics.Win.UltraWinSchedule namespace. Printing support was added with the NA 2004.2 release.
Ok, so I am on 2003.3. I am working inside of a huge group of projects and some are already using this version of Infragistics.
1. Is it possible to just update the UltraWinSchedule class?
2. Will this update affect any of my projects that already exist? Is so, will I just have to simply recompile those projects? (I am working in a vb.net environment.
Thank you for your help.
1. No, you would also have to update the references to Infragistics.Shared and Infragistics.Win, which are used by all other components/controls.
2. Given the answer to the above question I suppose this is moot, but in general all our controls/components are 100% backward compatible with previous versions., so yes, you only have to recompile when updating assembly references.
Brian, thanks so much for your help!
Last question(s). Can you just upgrade to 2004.2 or would I need to get the most recent version? Are you sure there are no fees associated with upgrading versions (whether it is 2004.2 or the most current)?
I don't think you can upgrade to 2004.2 because it is no longer supported; the earliest supported version is 2008.1. I don't know much about the pricing as that is a question for our Sales department, but if you have purchased a subscription for NetAdvantage, you are entitled to the latest version and would probably be able to "downgrade" to the earliest supported version if you elected to do so.
