Your question is a bit vague so I am not certain that this will help you, but the SaveAsXml method serializes the Appointment's object graph to a sream using SOAP (simple object access protocol). An Appointment instance that is for all intents and purposes a clone of the one that was saved can be created using the static Appointment.FromXML method.
