Implement Winform UltraWin Schedule Appointment Grouping

I have a c# winform project where i need to add two tabs: one for all the reservations and one for a reservations by Apartment as Gantt View.

I have tried to add the appointment table to my SQL database and tried to modify the database code to link it to my database but it is not working.

What will happen is when the user add a new reservation , i insert some of its fields into the appointment table so the calendar would be read only.

Could you please help me implementing it. I have just licensed infragistics 2012 and i need help.

Hello Anthony,

Thank you for contacting Infragistics. I strongly encourage you to first review our online documentation for setting up our schedule controls. I also recommend using an UltraCalendarInfo to wire up the data to your UI as it's compatible with all of our schedule related components.

Keep in mind that we also have our own Gantt control. (aka UltraGanttView).

Here is a direct link for an example of setting up DataBinding support for the UltraGanttView

My only concern is how to change the connection string.

I am trying to review the code but it is not clear enough and in the documentation i could not find it.

Thank you for following up.

Note, connecting to your data is a separate step that our controls do not naturally have a major role in aside from the mappings of various fields that may be comprise of from an appointment/owner. Are you trying to change the connection string at runtime?
