Hi We have requirement to add header and footer when data is exported to PDF. We are using WebDocumentExporter. We are able to add header usng report section. But could not find way to add the Footers. Footer/custom text should appear after the grid data in PDF.

If I understand you correctly, you would like to have a Grid with header and footer that can be exported in PDF file. The WebDataGrid as well as the WebHierarchicalDataGrid supports footer. All you have to do is set the ShowFooter option to true.

My question was specific to Export to PDF using webdocumentexporter. we have need to have custom text at start of PDF then Grid Data and then again custom text at end of PDF file. We were able to add header custom test using section in PDF file. But we are able to add custom test after the grid data in PDF file. Is there any way to add custom text at end of PDF while exporting data from grid to PDF.
The WebDocumentExporter control allows you to automatically export WebDataGrid or WebHierarchicalDataGrid data in a document format. It can’t be used to create a custom footer that is not connected to the grid itself. You can manipulate the grid and have a Grid Footer, but there is no property that allows you to have a separated one.
