I've seen samples that you have a multi-column header on webdatagrid. But in version 11.1 there aren't any control to make it possible.
Now here is my question... Is there any code you can provide to make it possible for this version. Maybe using inheritance for a class or some trick to simulate this scenario?
Hi jcvegan,
This is not going to be possible with any sort of tricks. The architecture was changed to accommodate this new class on the server. The client was also modified to work with the new html. You will need to get 11.2 to get this support. But it will not be until 12.1 ships that GroupField is supported with Column Fixing and the WebHierarchicalDataGrid.
If you cannot upgrade, the best that you can do is to modify the html on the client.

Do you have any example of how can it be done on client?
Hi,
This would be a completely custom implementation. You would need to insert new TR elements into the tbody of the header, then add cells and adjust the row spand and col span of the cells appropriately. I would suggest upgrading to 11.2 to get this functionality and have it supported with the behaviors.
