Hi,
I am using web heirachical data grid in the application.
I have to remove collapse, expand buttons and to show records always in expanded form.
Thanks,
Anagha
Hi Anagha,
Thank you for posting in the community.
In this scenario I would suggest that you set the InitialDataBindDepth and InitialExpandDepth of your WHDG to -1 in order to load and expand all rows in your grid on the initial load. Hiding the expansion column can be achieved by setting a 0 width for the .ighg_ExpansionColumn and .ighg_ExpansionColumnHeader located in ig_res/Default/ig_hierarchicalDataGrid.css.
For instance:
.ighg_ExpansionColumn{ width: 0px;} .ighg_ExpansionColumnHeader{ width: 0px; }
.ighg_ExpansionColumn{ width: 0px;}
.ighg_ExpansionColumnHeader{ width: 0px; }
Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks Petar.
Solution is working.
Any other solution instead of making changes in ig_heirachicaldatagrid.css?
Because , i have to remove expand, collapse button on one page only.
And WHDG is used on other pages also.
Anagha.
Thank you for your reply.
It is possible to create custom classes for the fixed columns in your grid. Here is some sample code, illustrating such a scenario:
tbody.customFixedColumnClass>tr>td { background-color: Green; } .customFixedHeaderClass { background-color: Green; }
<ig:ColumnFixing CellCssClass="customFixedColumnClass" HeaderCssClass="customFixedHeaderClass"> </ig:ColumnFixing>
