Hi,
I wanted to ask, where the files are cached when I set a site/item to 'sync'. Somewhere on the filesystem they should be, but where? ;)
Is it possible to set a path where I want the cache to reside, or is there a limitation by the app store that prevents this?
Simon,
How are you?
The path can't be user-defined and, though it is indeed a place in your filesystem, it's not ment to be browsed with finder.
There is no limitation in terms of size, other than your HDD's capacity.
I hope this answers your questions.
Take care!
Hi Javier,
hiding the folder somewhere is absolutely ok for most purposes, like Apple does with the Mobile Documents folder, for example.
But should I need more space on my SSD, and perhaps deinstall shareplus for a while, then the cached documents will still litter the filesystems, and I have no way to get rid of that cache. This use-case is the reason for my asking.
I presume you're not caching the files inside the .app bundle so it gets deleted when I delete the app ;)
best regards
simon
