How do I change the font color of "Aa" which is displayed next to every filter row in XamDataGrid? I want to change it to white instead of the default black color.
Hello Morris,
The “Aa” text in the StartsWith filter is styled with the DrawingImage with key "{x:Static igWindows:ComparisonOperatorSelector.OperatorStartsWithImageKey}". This style could be found in the PrimitivesGeneric_Express.xaml file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics\2014.1\WPF\DefaultStyles\Windows folder. You can add it as resource to your XamDataGrid instance and set the Brush to the color you prefer: <GeometryDrawing Brush="Purple">…</GeometryDrawing>Please let me know if you need further assistance on the same matter.
Hi Morris,
I am just checking your progress on the issue.
If you have any other questions on the matter, please feel free to ask.
Hi Maria,
I tried searching for the file that was mentioned (PrimitivesGeneric_Express.xaml) but couldn't find it.
Would you mind attaching it? Would be really helpful!
Thanks,
Morris
Morris,
Please find the styles in the attached sample project. Also note that the location of the file could be slightly different as the folder where the Infragistics components have been installed on your machine might not be the same. Feel free to update the thread if you need additional assistance.
I have used your approach and managed to change the color to the preferred one. However, both the color of "Aa" as displayed in the filter row and the color of "Aa" in the dropdown seem to be dependent on the same style so they get the same color. Is is possible to keep the "Aa" in the filter dropdown black, and the "Aa" on the filter row white for example?
