I have downloaded and installed several times, tried a repair.
But nothing gets installed.
There is a start menu item under Infragistics right below the Netadvantage 2011.2 entry, which has a link to the forums.
There is a folder created C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics but that was created last year when I installed the 2011.2 version.
One of the main reasons for not transferring a project from Lightswitch 2011 to 2012 is your Office 2010 theme, my users have got so used to it and there would be an outcry if I tried to change it.
So when I found that you had the 2012.2 free version with the Office 2010 theme I though I finally had my chance to upgrade.
But I can't get it to install anything, can anyone help please?

What you could try in this case is uninstalling any previously installed versions of LightSwitch, install the Free version after that, open the Visual Studio 2010 Extensions Manager, and there should be listed the LightSwitch extension.

I'm having the same problem, I'm using visual studio 2012, and the extension does not appear in the list of installed extensions

Our developers are working on that matter currently and I will update you once we have any progres on that - running the LightSwitch Free version under Visual Studio 2012.
I have created a case for you - CAS-113639-H1G4X7 and I will update you there as well. I believe that you could your the Trial version of the LightSwitch product which is working fine with Visual Studio 2012.
