I tried to reproduce your behavior using our online sample here https://www.igniteui.com/html-editor/overview but to no avail.
Could you try to reproduce it in our sample or send me a sample in which I could reproduce it? Also, could you share your specific version?

Yes. I tried in your sample page but could not reproduce which is why i sent a video.
We are using 14.1.20141.1020 version.

It is great news it is working in 16.2 I recommend using version 16.2.

We are still seeing the same issue in 2017 version. Can you suggest anything else on this ?
