IGX-column of dataType = 'date' does not allow me to delete a value

igniteui-angular@7.3.11

Using igx-column with [dataType]="'date'" I find that once a valid date is present, there is no way to delete the date entry.  I see the 'x' button in the editor which clears out the values present, but when I click done (in row editing mode) the original value for the date is still persisted.

Is this expected or am I missing something in implementation perhaps?

    Thank you for contacting Infragistics Support!

    The described behavior is a know issue, which has been resolved in igniteui-angular@7.3.13. What I suggest is upgrading IgniteUI for Angular package to version 7.3.15(which is the currently latest version of 7.3.x) .
