I was just wondering if there are plans to have components for the .NET Compact Framework in the future?
I can't tell you whether there are or not because frankly I don't know - which means to me, that it's not something you're going to see in the next couple of months... However, for you and anyone else who would like to comment, I'm interested in hearing your requirements, usage scenarios, and which components you would like to see. What problems you would like the components to solve, etc. The more information I can pass onto the product managers, the more educated decision they can make.

I second the inputs of the previous respondents, and would add that having a "richer" set of UI input controls would be very helpful. The .NETCF primitive UI controls are pretty limited in their utility and programmability, and having an API like the UltraWinEditors would be very helpful when building complex business apps. The ability to cancel changes, the expanded databinding functionality, etc. would be much appreciated.
One thing that is a terrific feature of the UltraWinEditors is the ability to pair a button/combobox/etc. with almost any other control. I am leading a porting effort where those features are used extensively in the desktop version but have had to be omitted in the device version.
