Filtering and Editing with Formatter Function

Hello, Iam using ASP MVC5 with IgniteUI 2016.2.

I have a problem with formatter, dropdown and filtering condition. How can I show [text value] from [int key] and get correct filtering condition with [text value] and correct dropdown with default value from [int key]?

Trying with unbound column, but no luck.

Hello,

I suggest you take a look at the following forum thread.
Martin answers how to filter a dropdown column by display text values but not the underlying integer values.
There is a sample attached as well.
Please note that it works only for a local filtering as he explained there.

I already read the post and try the solution. But, how can I set hidden column value with selected unbound column value and send it correctly to server?
