well, download the trial version for xamarin today, and when I try to create a new project
(File-> New Project-> infragistics-> Xamarin.Forms) I get the following mistake when I want to create the project:
Error: This template tried to load the component assembly "Xamarin.forms.Templates.VisualStudio".

This usually indicates that you do not have the current version of Xamarin installed. Please verify your version of Xamarin is updated.

Actually, since you are using the Preview version, it is possible Xamarin has updated their template wizard assembly version, which would be incompatible with the version we are referencing. I will have to verify this.

I have confirmed that Microsoft has removed the Xamarin.Forms.Templates.VisualStudio wizard that we use in VS2017. We are working on v2 that will create the new Xamarin.Forms .NET Standard projects using the new SDK style csproj format. I have an Alpha version of v2 ready if you would like to test it out.
