Hi,
somehow I lost some behaviour of the items in a ExplorerBar I had before. Now when I am with the mouse over an item, the background of the item changes. It looks like that the complete item changes the background color. That is fine. Now I want, that the selected item also changes it complete background (same as when I go over them with the mouse). Some help on this would be really great. Thanks!
RegardsStefan
Hi Stefan,
I am currently looking into this behavior for you; if I am not mistaken, you are interested in changing the background color for items within the UltraExplorerBar control, when either hovered over with the mouse cursor and when selected by the user.
I will be following up with you via this thread with my findings and if you have any further questions before that time, please let me know.

Yes, that is correct.
The "hover" effect works already fine. I have defined the items as "State Buttons".
And the other effect, when an item is selected the background did also change in the past. I am not 100% sure when I lost this effect; but not long ago, I had to completely reinstall my PC. Before reinstall Infragistics was installed on C. After reinstall it was on drive D. I had soem strange effects with "shifted icons" (handled in some other thread). This I could mainly solve with removing and adding the references to the Infragistics DLL. Just want ot tive you that info, since it might be the origin of the effect change.
Thanks, right now I am busy with other more important problems. I'll test it ASAP, and will tell if it works. Thanks!
Sorry for the late answer. But the solution was really simple. When I upgraded to a newer Infragistics version it seems that I also changed the UltraExplorerBarViewStyle from "Office2003" to "Office2007". And that was the whole thing. I just changed it back to "Office2003" and the behavior is like expected.
Thanks for your example anyhow!
I have exception:

It's happen after I select item programmatically (var item=this.ExplorerBar1.GetItemByKey(key);item.Group.Selected=true;item.Checked=true;) and then press any key (eg. Shift)
Hello kumbor,
Has this issue occurred when using the ModifyExplrerBarItemApprnce108377.zip?
May I ask if you are still having issues using the UltraWinExplorerBar control? If so, please attach an isolated sample that demonstrates your issue and I can investigate the exception occurring.
After upgrade IG to Version=13.1.20131.2060 I haven't issues with the UltraWinExplorerBar control.
