We've been using infragistics "UltraGrid" (ver. Infragistics35.WebUI.Shared.v8.1)  in one of our product (internal use), which is working on IE6 perfectly fine but now our IT team is decided to version up the IE from IE6 to IE8. So I want to ask you guys few questions -

Is this change will be breaking for "UltraGrid"? If Yes then all issues will be resolvable.

UltraGrid will be supported by IE8? If No then only way is to update the grid with new version or there is any other alternative.

    Thank you for posting in Infragistics Community.

    UltraWebGrid component supports IE 6,7,8,9 versions, as far as I can suggest you have a few options. The best and the most reliable one is upgrade your product to the 11.1 version latest SR . The grid version in this product supports the already mentioned IE versions.  You may try to upgrade your product to latest SR of 8.1 which does not require any expenses from your side.

     

    Please keep in mind that UltraWebGrid has been replaced by WebDataGrid and WebHierarchalDataGrid and in the next few months it will be no longer support product.
