Hi,
I have tried out the Indigo Studio are really like it and so tried to install on my computer at home.
I am running 64bit, windows 8 pro. When I first installed had the error about Silverlight. Downloaded and install then re-ran the install for the studio. I then get the following two errors.
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2503"
I then click "OK" and get the following error
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2502"
I then click "OK" and the finish screen comes up and nothing installed.
What does error 2053 and 2052 mean?

Those errors appear to indicate a more general problem with the Windows Installer service. It looks like a common cause is a permissions issue around the C:\windows\installer folder and the msiexec.exe executable that runs the installers, and others are having similiar issues in Windows 8 with other software.
